 The purpose of Frog Mountain Pet Care is to offer a safe, but fun alternative to traditional boarding. We are located approximately 5 miles outside the beautiful Victorian town of Port Townsend, Washington on 5 country acres. Our kennel is a social kennel where our doggie guests are separated according to their size, temperament and personality to ensure each dog can fully enjoy their stay with us. We have three play yards of various size (one as large as an acre)where the dogs have supervised play time.
In our facility building, each dog has his/her own indoor enclosure which includes a Kurunda bed (an elevated hammock style bed) with warm Mutt Mats for snuggling. The dogs are in our indoor faciity for overnight, mealtime and nap time. Otherwise, weather permitting, we provide a camp-like setting where the dogs romp and play outside with each other as much as they like!
For our cat guests, we have a separate cat room where each cat has a spacious 2-room laminate enclosure with a warm, fuzzy bed and lots of toys. If a client has two cats which they would like to board together, we have larger enclosures so the cats can be housed together. There is no extra charge for our visiting cats to have extra exercise and play time with scratching posts and climbing areas in our indoor cat play room.

 Since our camp-like setting offers our visiting dogs lots of outdoor playtime, we offer bathing for our client's dogs so they won't be going home with lots of 'good time' dirt. We use the Hydro-Surge Bathing system for our bathing which ensures a very clean and soft coat.
We encourage our clients to bring along a favorite blanket, bedding or toy for their pet so they will feel more comfortable during their stay with us. If a pet has a special diet we are more than happy to feed the food an owner brings along at no extra charge. Otherwise, we offer California Natural dry kibble; both lamb and rice or chicken and rice. Our cats are fed California Natural adult chicken and rice formula. We also supply wet can food for cats that are used to more than just dry kibble.

 We are a family owned and operated facility and we live on site. We have over 20 years of dog and cat care experience ranging from operating a non-profit shelter for rescue animals and training dogs in obedience and agility.
We know the importance of your pet feeling at home and comfortable in a new and different surrounding. We go out of our way to make each pet's stay memorable. Each pet that stays with us is special and we make sure they each get the extra attention they deserve so they feel relaxed and comfortable during their stay. Most importantly we want our pet guests to return home knowing they had fun while they stayed with us. Owners tell us on their return visits to us their dogs get all excited the minute they turn on to the road leading to our facility. They remember the fun ahead!

Driving Directions to Frog Mountain!
From Port Ludlow, Quilcene, Port Hadlock, Irondale, Kala Point and Chimacum
Take Highway 19 until you come to the signal where Courtesy Ford Dealership is on your right. This is Highway 20 west, towards Port Angeles and Sequim. Turn left at this signal on to Highway 20 West. Go ½ mile on 20 West until the trees clear on the right hand side. There will be an open horse pasture area on the right. At the end of the pasture is the opening to Martin Road. Turn right on to Martin Road. Go 50 yards and the road has two options, it goes straight and winds to the right. You want to wind to the right, keeping the horse pasture on your right side. Continue for approximately 9/10th of a mile. Go under and arch made of three telephone poles. We are the first driveway after the arch on the right. Our Frog Mountain Pet Care sign is at the base of the driveway. Our address 870 Martin is clearly marked on our sign. There is a gate at the top of the driveway to open and close behind you. Follow the driveway up to the left where the kennel building has two parking spaces in front. The office is in the front of the kennel building.
From Port Townsend and Cape George
Take Highway 20 out of Port Townsend to Courtesy Ford on the left. Turn right at the signal on to Highway 20 West towards Sequim and Port Angeles. Follow the directions given above to 870 Martin Road.
